Travelled 40 mins from Liverpool and worth every second! Had a great experience buying a used car at Car-Isma. The guys were fantastic reserving the vehicle for me, sorting out an MOT for me in addition, just going above and beyond. Would definitely return next time I’m after a car.

Heated rear screen defective, cost to replace approximately £400.Air Conditioning Condenser leaking, cost to replace approximately £400.Telematics control module faulty, cost to repair approximately £700.And now there is a knocking sound coming from the engine compartment.Not what you would expect from a 2020 car costing nearly £11000.None of which are covered under warranty according to Car-Isma, would not even make a contribution to any of the cost.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience. Following your initial concern, we did inspect the vehicle and identified an issue with the heated rear screen. As explained at the time, this is an electrical component rather than a mechanical failure and falls outside the scope of the warranty provided. In relation to the air conditioning system, this is also not covered under our standard warranty terms. Since the vehicle left us, we have not been involved in any further diagnostics. We would always encourage customers to seek a second opinion where significant costs are suggested, as components can sometimes be misdiagnosed or replaced unnecessarily without thorough assessment. We pride ourselves on being transparent, fair and honest with all of our customers, and we ensure clear information is provided regarding vehicle condition and warranty coverage at the time of purchase. I bought my first car in UK an year ago from Car-isma. So far I am very pleased with the purchase. Peter was very helpful throughout the process. He delivered the car at my door step after completing all the paperwork on the agreed date. The car is still in perfect condition. I like the way they source second hand cars and happy to recommend for anyone I know.

Exactly what you want a car buying experience to be. Peter and Josh were friendly, helpful and professional, and didn't push a hard sell. The car was immaculate, cleaned like new, and MOT'd, and the paperwork was really straightforward. By far the best place I've dealt with over decades of second hand cars, I highly recommend it.
